Sponsor recognised once again
The club wishes to congratulate our sponsor Paul Strank MBE after he earned more recognition for his great charity work in the community.
Paul, who has sponsored a stand here for many seasons at the Cherry Red Records Stadium, has won a Halifax Heroes award just a few years after being recognised with an MBE.
Winners are now put forward for a regional award, which would result in a £5,000 grant for their chosen charities. Paul has selected Shooting Star Chase, just one of the numerous charities he has supported over the years.
During 32 years, Paul has helped raise over £2 million, focusing on children’s charities, but he’s also been involved with local charities, including Age Concern Merton.
