In-form striker to feature at Kenilworth Road
Ade Azeez will boost his match fitness with a run-out at Kenilworth Road in the Final Third Development League tomorrow (1.00 pm kick-off).
The 22-year-old striker, who scored once again after entering the fray as a substitute against Mansfield, has requested to play in the game against Luton Town to get more minutes under his belt.
AFC Wimbledon currently top the Final Third Development League South Division with four wins and a draw out of five games – and coach Alan Reeves says that Ade’s attitude sets an example to others.
“He is a good player, a willing runner, and a great lad to have around the dressing room,” said Alan. “He will be welcomed into the Under-21 team with open arms. His attitude is never in question. Ade is a great professional, a good lad, and he works his socks off in training every day.
“Whenever you put Ade on the pitch you know what you are going to get. There is no hidden agenda. Sometimes players can be disappointed if they are not in the team and getting the recognition they deserve, but with Ade he turns up and gets on with it.”
The match at Kenilworth Road is open to spectators with entry prices at £2 for adults and £1 concessions.
