Under-18 number one gets chance to train at St George's Park
AFC Wimbledon goalkeeper Will Mannion has earned a great opportunity to train with England Under-18s on Wednesday after an impressive season so far.
Mannion has received an invite for an England training camp at St George’s Park, where he will join current number one Paul Woolston, who was at the opposite end when Wimbledon beat Newcastle in the FA Youth Cup last Wednesday.
Wimbledon U-18 goalkeeper Mannion said: “Mark Robinson pulled me aside before the Newcastle game and said that I had been chosen to attend a training camp with England at St George’s. I will be training there on Wednesday and staying overnight to do another session. It’s great news for me.”
