Manager's transfer window update for Dons Player
Neal Ardley said that he is working hard to bolster his squad during the January transfer window and talks are planned with one particular target.
Speaking during an in-depth nine-minute interview for Dons Player ahead of Saturday’s match against Mansfield, Neal updated us about his progress.
“We look carefully through everything because we have to try and bring in someone who is going to improve us,” said Neal. “There are one or two areas where we think we are light in terms of cover. In one area we will probably look to do some business and we have already started some talks. Whether we can get something over the line is a different kettle of fish.
“For the other position we think we would probably rather go down the emergency loan route if needed so we will leave that. Anybody else that comes in has to bring something different or be better than we have already got, which is difficult. I would be very happy if I could bring two new faces in and that would give us all a lift.”
