Relive glory days with Ian

25 January 2016

Pre-match hospitality for Yeovil game

There’s a special treat for older supporters at our pre-match hospitality this Saturday with Ian Cooke reliving the days when Wimbledon and Yeovil Town were big rivals.

When Wimbledon won the Southern League Premier title in three successive seasons in the 1970s, Yeovil Town emerged as key challengers for glory, but it was Allen Batsford’s men who emerged victorious in a run that ended with the Dons elected to the Football League.
