Exclusive interviews via our premium channel
Will Nightingale and George Oakley are both on the comeback trail after boosting their fitness levels at Raynes Park last night and an exclusive interview with the returning pair is on Dons Player.
Having both risen through the AFC Wimbledon academy ranks, Nightingale (pictured) and Oakley endured injury-hit 2015/16 campaigns.
However, there was a silver lining for defender Nightingale as he played in the final competitive game of the regular season against Newport County and got a League 2 play-off winners’ medal, though he just missed out on the squad for Wembley.
It’s also looking a lot more positive for striker Oakley after he played for the first time last night since suffering a broken leg in January.
