"I'm a local boy so it's good to come down and speak to some of the young children and tell them what it's like to get involved in football," added Nightingale, a “Home Grown and Hungry” product of AFC Wimbledon Academy.
Junior Hayden, Head of PE at Ark Putney Academy said: "It was great to have AFC Wimbledon players and foundation coaches down with us at our grand opening. The coaching staff worked with our year seven and eight boys and girls, who had a wonderful experience. They were given coaching and had the opportunity to ask the players questions as well as photo opportunities. It was thoroughly enjoyable."
