Pre-season fixture at The Crabble
We are pleased to confirm another pre-season fixture with AFC Wimbledon travelling to Dover Athletic on Tuesday 12 July (7.45 pm kick-off).
Chris Kinnear’s side will provide good opposition as Neal Ardley’s men prepare for League 1 as the Kent club finished fifth in the National League last season, eventually beaten in the play-off semi-final by Forest Green.
Former Dons player Jake Leberl (pictured), who helped AFC Wimbledon into the Conference National League in 2009, is assistant manager at Dover Athletic.
We have confirmed three other pre-season fixtures and they are as follows:
Margate (away) on Saturday 16 July
Reading (home) on Saturday 23 July
Dagenham & Redbridge (away) on 30 July
