Goalkeeper thanks the club after conclusion of loan spell

Kelle Roos has posted a message of thanks to the club and our supporters after he rounded off his four-month loan spell by helping AFC Wimbledon to promotion.

The Dutch goalkeeper, who kept eight clean sheets in 20 appearances, thoroughly enjoyed his time at AFC Wimbledon after joining on loan from Derby County and that is reflected in the following message on his Instagram account:

“As probably most of you have noticed, I am enjoying my holiday in the USA at the moment! I want to thank AFC Wimbledon for having me for the last four months, the fans for treating me like one of their own, and the staff for putting faith in me and my ability. In particular, I thank the team and ‘Bayzo’ as I loved every single second since I joined the club. It’s been an absolutely amazing journey! At the end, it got us and this great club the reward we deserved. Thanks for everything and I will never forget this.”
