“People did not realise that in the build-up to Wembley and all the excitement leading up to it, I was re-signing really key players,” said Neal. “Re-signing Darius Charles, Barry Fuller, George Francomb and Dannie Bulman was the best business I am likely to do in the summer. It has allowed us to know we’ve got a very competitive and strong team already that we can put out in the first game. Now we need to add some quality additions.”
