Funds raised will be donated to Prostate Cancer UK

A signed AFC Wimbledon shirt is up for grabs as part of an auction by Football League sponsor Sky Bet.

The auction is being staged to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK in recognition of Jeff Stelling’s Men United March, which the Sky Sports presenter completed yesterday.

Joined by a team of walkers from AFC Wimbledon, Jeff came through the final stage from the Cherry Red Records Stadium to Wembley, therefore completing 10 marathons in 10 days.

Sky Bet employees joined Jeff on the Leeds leg of his journey, and provided Jeff with free charity bets for the cause every day, from which he has currently made more than £3,000.

So far Jeff has raised over £250,000 in total for Prostate Cancer UK.

Jeff said: “Over ten thousand people die of Prostate Cancer each year. I’ve been personally affected and it’s likely that you know someone who has, too.

“I’d like to thank Sky Bet for their support for my Men United March and I’d urge fans to have a bid on one of the shirts in the auctions. Alternatively you can text JEFF to 70004 to donate £3 to the March.”
