Your assistance to boost our community aim
Our AFC Wimbledon Foundation team is appealing for your help to continue delivering a wide range of football events in the community.
There was an “overwhelming” response to our appeal for Sainsbury’s Active Kids vouchers last year – and a repeat show of support would be greatly appreciated again.
AFC Wimbledon Foundation Sport Development Manager, Joe Roberts, said that the large amount of vouchers received last year enabled the team to purchase footballs, bibs and cones – all a great help to the club’s community work.
The Foundation is currently reaching out to over 600 school children in primary schools a week as regards providing coaching opportunities.
It also staged another highly successful Girls and Kids Cup, in conjunction with the Football League Trust, in November and the picture above shows Girls Cup winners Cheam High with Neal Ardley and Neil Cox.
Joe Robertson said: “Last year we were overwhelmed with the donations that we received from fans and people involved with the club. It helped us massively with our continued delivery of football within the local community.
“We are hoping to better our achievements last year and without your much valued generosity and assistance this will not be possible.”

- Bring them along to this Saturday’s game against Accrington or any future home game. Our “Voucher Collection Box” will be situated in the ticket collection point next to the John Green Stand entrance.
- Pay us a visit at our home ground and drop them off during the week if you happen to be passing through!
