Development game at Shrimpers is off
Today’s scheduled Final Third Development League game between Southend United and third place AFC Wimbledon (12pm) has been called off.
Alan Reeves’ squad are well placed in the South Division table, just three points behind leaders AFC Bournemouth and with three games in hand, with the Shrimpers in second position.
The development side are due to be back in action next Tuesday (April 5) with a trip to Gillingham (1pm kick-off).
The visit to Southend has now been re-arranged for May 3, also with a 1pm kick-off.
