"Kick It Out" supported by club this Saturday
AFC Wimbledon are backing “Kick It Out” this weekend.
This Saturday against York City will be our designated “Kick It Out” day of action as the club supports a national campaign to give racism and discrimination the red card.
The above photograph shows Paul Robinson, Lyle Taylor, Joe McDonnell, Ade Azeez and Dannie Bulman supporting the valuable work of Kick It Out, ahead of the game.
Players will wear Kick It Out T-shirts during the pre-match warm-up to support a campaign that has made valuable strides since its inception in 1993.
Our Foundation team have been spreading the word about the event and pupils from Benedict Primary School in Mitcham will be attending Saturday’s match as special guests.
Pupils will take part in a football tournament from 1.30 pm at the nearby Kingsmeadow Athletics Centre, before watching Wimbledon versus York City.
Children will parade the Kick It Out banner at half-time on the pitch to spread the important message about tacking racism and discrimination.
