Match details for key play-off battle

Neal Ardley’s men will be battling for more vital points in the play-off race when Accrington Stanley visit tomorrow and tickets are available for you to cheer on the Dons.

We have terrace tickets available and a limited number of tickets have become available for the John Green Stand.

Below is a summary of ticket availability and other match arrangements:

Tickets

The Paul Strank Stand is sold out, but there are still seat tickets available in the John Green Stand. Terrace tickets are also still remaining in the Your Golf Travel section and the Chemflow End. You can book in advance up until 11.00 am tomorrow morning from our online ticket shop (link). Tickets can be collected pre-match from the white booth in Jack Goodchild Way.

Programme

An exclusive interview with Lyle Taylor is in tomorrow’s edition and it’s a revealing read as our top scorer talks about a time when he almost gave up football. Ryan Sweeney is interviewed too about his rise through the ranks after joining the Dons as a nine-year-old. There’s also a special feature on AFC Wimbledon Ladies after their superb title triumph. Packed with interviews, features and news from around the club, it’s well worth buying at £3 for 68 pages.

Bars

Our bars will be open from 12 noon on Saturday and supporters arriving in plenty of time before the Accrington game can watch the North London derby on TV screens.

In the middle bar, there’s a choice of PLA and St Austell’s Proper Job. Tottenham take on Arsenal in the televised clash from 12.45 pm and there’s a great selection of drinks available in all the bars. For ale lovers, Hogs Back Brewery’s Farnham White will be served in the back bar, along with Plough Lane Ale (PLA).

The early evening kick-off between Watford and Leicester will be shown after the Accrington game from 5.30 pm, but supporters should note that the back bar will close at 6.00 pm due to a function.

We will be pleased to welcome Acccrington Stanley supporters into the bar areas.

Train disruption

We wish to make Wimbledon supporters aware that train travel to Norbiton will be affected by engineering works tomorrow.

On the day of our game against Accrington Stanley, there will be no services at all on South West Trains lines in the Wimbledon and Surbiton areas.

There will be replacement bus services, but journey times will obviously be considerably longer.

For more information, visit the South West Trains website (link).

Football fun for women

AFC Wimbledon Foundation is tomorrow holding another football session exclusively for women over the age of 30.

It offers a great opportunity for women to play football for fun with Foundation coach Emma O'Connor running the sessions.

The sessions are staged before Wimbledon home games for women who fancy a kickabout and Emma will be putting on a session tomorrow at the Kingsmeadow Athletics Centre between 12 noon and 1.00 pm.

Our Foundation team are advertising the coaching sessions with the slogan “Come play the beautiful game while having a laugh with other women”.

It’s just £2 per session to get involved. E-mailfemalefootball@afcwimbledonfoundation.org.uk to book a place. Alternatively, contact Emma on 07824536545.

We Are Wimbledon Fund

The We Are Wimbledon Fund (WAWF), set up by a group of fans in March 2013, has so far raised £165,000 towards the playing budget – and tomorrow there will be a sign-up day.

Supporters have predominantly contributed through monthly direct debit contributions and manager Neal Ardley is full of appreciation for a great effort by fans. Click on Your AFC Wimbledon for more information about tomorrow.

Club voucher appeal

Wimbledon supporters can help our Foundation team to continue their great work in the community by donating Sainsbury’s Active Kids Vouchers.

There will be a collection point at tomorrow’s game for you to donate vouchers.
