Final session of the season tomorrow
AFC Wimbledon Foundation will tomorrow hold its final football session of the season exclusively for women over the age of 30 - and new players are welcome to join in the fun!
Numbers have grown since the Foundation started running the sessions in January and last month a Wimbledon team was put together to take on Crawley, a match the Dons won 3-0.
It offers a great opportunity for women to play football for fun with Foundation coach Emma O'Connor running the sessions.
Tomorrow's final session will be staged before the home game against Newport at the Kingsmeadow Athletics Centre (between 12 noon and 1.00 pm).
Our Foundation team have been promoting the coaching sessions with the slogan “Come play the beautiful game while having a laugh with other women”.
It’s just £2 per session to get involved.
