Midfielder's neck injury not as bad as first feared
We are pleased to report that Connor Smith has been given the all-clear after making a good recovery from the neck injury that he suffered on Saturday.
Saturday’s game was held up for 10 minutes while Smith received treatment and he was eventually stretchered off, but Neal Ardley today said that the midfielder will be phased back into training this week if he continues his improvement.
It means he could yet be in contention for the play-offs against Accrington Stanley.
