Issues about ticket applications for semi-final home game
This message contains important information for season ticket holders and Dons Trust members who have already applied for tickets for the play-off home match on Saturday 14 May.
The deadline for Season Ticket holders and Dons Trust members for priority applications for tickets for the semi-final home game is 5.00 pm today.
We need to do this because, unfortunately, we have had applications from fans whose membership of the Dons Trust has expired and from former ST holders who do not have a ST for season 2015-16. Neither of these categories of fans will be allocated priority tickets and will need to apply via the general sale after the Newport game. This is because of the time-consuming nature of having to check every application for validity. We are not yet able to say how many tickets, if any, will be available for general sale after the Newport game.
Dealing with these has added to our processing time. Finally, there are also examples of multi-applications (i.e. ST holders who have also applied for a further ticket as a DT member – this is not valid), while many applications have given no details of whether they are ST holders of DT members. In the light of these issues, we urge everyone who has applied believing themselves to be a DT member to check that your membership is indeed current.
Anyone who receives a terrace ticket and does not want it, must return it in order to obtain a full refund. Due to the small number of available seats and the limited time we have to process applications, we have decided to allocate terrace tickets to DT members who applied unsuccessfully for seats – we will refund the difference in price at a later date.
Although the deadline for applications is 5.00 today, we will be working late into the evening to establish the exact position and aim to publish a further update on Saturday morning.
