FA Youth Cup tonight

1 November 2016

Watch young Dons take on North Greenford

AFC Wimbledon are in FA Youth Cup action tonight and supporters can cheer on the Dons for just a fiver at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

Manager Mark Robinson has called on supporters to show excellent backing for the club’s young prospects once again after last season’s brilliant FA Youth Cup run.

“The whole of the cup run was fantastic last season, not just playing in front of 3,500 against Chelsea,” said Mark. “That was beyond what we could have imagined, but the support that we had up in Newcastle was equally as amazing. It was great for the boys to have that backing. We are obviously not expecting 3,500 to turn up on Tuesday, but even in front of 600 or 700 fans it’s just a great experience for the boys.

“They have to hold their nerve and perform to a game plan in a stadium and in front of fans. It would be great if some of our fans could come down and watch us.”

The full squad for tonight is as follows: Joe Bursik, Tom Scott, Paul Kalambayi, Toby Sibbick, Nick Akotu, Anthony Hartigan, Nathan Wood, Judah Chapman, Antonio Walker, Reece Williams-Bowers, Jayden Antwi, Callum Phillip, Osaze Urhoghide, Great Nii Okai Evans, Tino Carpene, Edward Ogbebor-Onaiwu.

Tonight’s match is £5 entry for adults and free for Under-18s to attend.
