Loan deals for Dons

11 November 2016

Fitzpatrick and Olusanya go on loan for a month

Flying winger David Fitzpatrick and young forward Toyosi Olusanya have both gone out on loan from AFC Wimbledon.

Fitzpatrick has joined Torquay United of the National League, while Olusanya has today linked up with Ryman League - Premier Division side Kingstonian. Both deals are for one month.

“David has been in and around the first-team squad, but he’s been looking for more game time and a decent National League side has come in for him. At his age he needs to be playing regularly and he’s always given me one hundred per-cent and worked his socks off,” said Development squad coach Alan Reeves.

“It may be too early for Toyosi to figure for Kingstonian tomorrow against Tonbridge in the FA Trophy, but he’s likely to play more next Tuesday at Metropolitan Police in the Surrey Senior Cup for them having just met his new team mates,” added Alan, as the young striker continues his step up to the senior game.

Fitzpatrick (pictured) joined the Dons in 2014 from Queens Park Rangers and went on loan to Tonbridge Angels last season. Olusanya was snapped up by AFC Wimbledon Academy last year and went on to star in their successful FA Youth Cup run last season where he then earned a professional contract with the Dons.

The club wish both David and Toyosi every success with their loan spells.
