Interview with manager ahead of Fleetwood

Neal Ardley believes that the connection between players and supporters is the strongest it has ever been since he took over as manager over four years ago.

The fans realise that they have a group of players giving absolutely everything. Every last drop they have got, the players are giving into a performance and the fans are happy with that. “The fans are feeding off the players and vice-versa. We just have to keep that good feeling going. We cannot win every game, but if you look at the games we’ve lost at home, they’ve been against top teams. We’ve given them a really good game, apart from against Sheffield United. The fans recognise that and we just need to keep that going. As long as we go out every week and give it our best I think they will be right behind us.”
