In-form striker shortlisted for League One prize

Tom Elliott’s excellent form in October has been recognised with a nomination for the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month awards.

A Sky Sports panel has put together a shortlist of contenders for all three English Football League Divisions, along with the Premier League.

.websiteHowever, it’s the fans who vote for the winners in each division via the Sky Sports

One voting fan in each division, who is a resident in the UK or Ireland, will win the chance to meet and present the award to each PFA Fans' Player of the Month.

Tom struck three goals in six league games during October, but it was his all-round game that caught the eye as he terrorised League One defences.

Dons fans can vote for Tom on Thursday and the winner will be announced on Friday.

The shortlist for League One is as follows:

Billy Clarke (Bradford)

Billy Sharp (Sheffield Utd)

Erhun Oztumer (Walsall)

Marvin Sordell (Coventry)

Tom Elliott (AFC Wimbledon)

Zac Clough (Bolton)
