Get set for Sunday Minithon

15 October 2016

You can enter before Swindon game or on the day

The AFC Wimbledon Minithon returns tomorrow with supporters invited to join Haydon the Womble, Erik Samuelson, and Neal Ardley on the starting line.

You can enter at the DT kiosk before the Swindon game or on the day before the Minithon at the training ground.

The aim is to stage a fun 5km run, walk, or jog, and raise funds for the Foundation, AFC Wimbledon Ladies and Girls, and the Academy.

We’ve set-up a donations page to sponsor Haydon, Erik, and Neal with all contributions gratefully received, including Gift Aid, from supporters and well-wishers.

There will be a bucket collection before the game today to raise funds for the Foundation.

The club would be very grateful for help from volunteers to make it a successful event. We need help on the day (from 10.00 am) with people needed to assist with registrations (main race at 11.00 am) and to time the event. We could also do with help the day before (at Swindon match) as we will be holding a bucket collection at the game. Please e-mail  if you can help with the subject title ‘Minithon’.

There is a small car park at the training ground and we expect this to be full early. We therefore advise that you park can in nearby streets with care for local residents.
