More opportunities provided by our Foundation
The AFC Wimbledon Foundation are this Sunday launching football sessions for children with disabilities at Southfields Academy.
Our Foundation are aiming to build on the success of its female only Down’s Syndrome sessions by providing more football opportunities in the community.
Led by experienced coaches, children (8-15 years) of all disabilities are welcome to attend every Sunday from 18 September (1.30 pm until 2.30 pm).
It’s just £3 per session.
The full address for Sunday’s session is as follows: The Aspire Centre, Southfields, SW18 5JU.
AFC Wimbledon Foundation will also be staging female only Down’s Syndrome sessions (12.30 pm until 1.30 pm) at the same venue on Sunday.
It offers an opportunity to follow in the footsteps of Amy Hurry (pictured above), who plays for the Down’s Syndrome football team.
