Goalkeeper decides to move on
Goalkeeper Ryan Clarke has today terminated his contract with AFC Wimbledon by mutual consent to join another club.
Manager Neal Ardley said: “After lengthy conversations with Ryan about his failure to settle at the club, we have reluctantly agreed to let him move on. Ryan is a good guy and a family man who wanted to do really well for Wimbledon, but he felt for personal reasons that his future needed to be at another club."
Ryan made nine appearances in all competitions for the Dons.
We wish Ryan all the best at his new club.
Neal also added that both James Shea and Joe McDonnell have been in exceptional form all season and they will be given the opportunity to fight for the place as first-team goalkeeper.
