Train journeys will take longer to The Valley
We wish to advise supporters that engineering works will affect train travel to Saturday’s game at Charlton Athletic.
No direct trains will be running to Charlton from London national rail stations.
Fans wishing to travel from London to Charlton will therefore need to get an underground train to Cannon Street (on the District/Circle line), before getting a service along the Greenwich line – Deptford, Greenwich, Maze Hill, Westcombe Park and Charlton.
Visit http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ to plan your journey.
Alternatively, fans can catch the Jubilee line from Waterloo all the way through to North Greenwich and board the 472 bus to Charlton Athletic FC.
Any fans travelling in from Dartford will also suffer disruption as buses replace trains between Dartford and Plumstead in both directions.
