Watch young Dons in match action on Thursday
AFC Wimbledon’s development side will be aiming to end a successful season on a high against Peterborough United on Thursday.
The young Dons face Peterborough (1.00 pm kick-off at Merstham FC) in match that was initially scheduled for tomorrow.
With 23 points from 10 games this season, Alan Reeves’ side cannot be caught in the Combined South West and South East Central League after beating nearest challengers Exeter City 1-0 last Thursday with a goal from Dan Gallagher (pictured).
Young players including Joe McDonnell, Alfie Egan, and Toby Sibbick have progressed from playing games at development level into the first-team this season.
Spectators are welcome to attend the game at Merstham FC on Thursday with entry at £5 for all.
