Stay on for end of season celebration

AFC Wimbledon conclude the 2016/17 season with a home match against Oldham Athletic tomorrow (12 noon kick-off on Sunday) and all tickets are sold out for this game.

With a big crowd at the Cherry Red Records Stadium, it would be great to round off the club’s first season in League One with plenty of your famous support for the Dons!

See below for more details about tomorrow's celebration. The end of season celebration takes places in a marquee in the grass car park and hopefully there will be a great atmosphere after a Dons home victory.

Due to the end of season celebration taking place after the Oldham game, the grass car park will not be open. This will leave us with very limited parking at the ground on Sunday. We remind supporters that Sunday’s game is a 12 noon kick-off.

An extensive interview with Alan Reeves also features after a season of success at development level that included winning the Central League South East and South West title, plus bringing players through to the first-team.

These will be open in plenty of time before the game and Oldham supporters will be welcome in the bar areas. The outside bar will also be open for all supporters on Sunday.

End of Season Celebration

You can join us for a special celebration to mark the end of AFC Wimbledon's first season in League One after the Oldham game on Sunday.

It’s a party that also aims to celebrate the achievements of the whole club during the 2016/17 campaign.

Sponsored by Sports Interactive, there will be a marquee open on the grass car park outside with FREE entry for all supporters.

Food stalls and a bar will be available in the marquee, in addition to all of the bars at the ground remaining open.

German food company Hanswurst will be providing tasty treats once again after the success of their catering at the beer festival a couple of years ago.

The marquee will be open straight after the game with Player of the Year Awards and end of season speeches taking place there.

Post-match entertainment will all start from around 2.00 pm (12 noon kick-off) and with it being Bank Holiday the next day, there’s no need to rush off home!

A DJ will also be providing entertainment on the day.

It will be free entry to the marquee for all supporters, but you must show your match ticket/season ticket book to get in.
