Wimbledon supporters can choose from a wide range of drinks in the bars before and after Saturday’s game against Doncaster Rovers.
There’s plenty of incentive to get here early as Premier League football will be shown on TV screens in the bars with the match between AFC Bournemouth and Man City on from 12.30 pm.
The Man United v Leicester City game will also be shown from 5.30 pm after the Dons v Doncaster match.
Both the main bar and back bar will be open from 12 noon on Saturday with the following ales served:
Plough Lane Ale
Wimbledon SW19
Adnams Southwold
Wimbledon 1889 Lager
This can be bought to “take away” after the match at either the main or back bar. You can purchase a couple of bottles, a pack of six, or even a whole case of 24. Just ask a member of bar staff.
Shrewsbury game
Due to a problem with the gas that supplies the Ales, bar service was not up to the standard we expect for this game. We apologise for this and thank supporters for their patience.
Bars Manager Elaine Smith said that the problem has now been rectified and it shouldn’t happen again.
Outside Bar
There will be no outside bar facility on Saturday. This is due to a problem with the bar itself, which will be eradicated soon, but not in time to serve from the outside bar on Saturday.
Pre-order drinks
Supporters can pre-order drinks for half-time simply by putting in a request to bar staff. While bar staff will be working hard to serve supporters as quickly as possible, pre-ordering will cut down on queuing times during busy periods.
