You can still reserve your place on the terrace to cheer on the Dons in their first home League game of the new season this Saturday.
Shrewsbury Town are the visitors to The Cherry Red Records Stadium (3pm kick-off) and you can book tickets in advance by going to our new online ticket shop. Tickets are available for Dons fans in the Chemflow End and RyGas Stand.
Neal Ardley's new-look side have showed promising signs in their first two competitive games. The Dons followed up Saturday's tough League One opening day draw at Scunthorpe with a gallant exit to Brentford of the Championship in the Carabao Cup last night.
Lenell John-Lewis scored in the 92nd minute for the Shrews on Saturday as they got off to a winning start against Northampton Town. The Shropshire club also made their League Cup exit on Tuesday, going out 2-1 at Nottingham Forest.
Lyle Taylor (pictured) gave the Dons the lead when the two sides met last September, but Ian Black equalised to give the visitors a point from their visit to the Dons. Aristote Nsiala notched a last-minute winner for Shrewsbury in dramatic fashion in the fixture at Greenhous Meadow back in mid-February. Andy Barcham was on the score sheet that day for Wimbledon with the equaliser in a 2-1 defeat.
The first home league match of the season is always a popular game to attend with tickets in demand to see Neal's new signings continue to settle into the side – so avoid disappointment and make plans for the weekend NOW!
