We know from the number of email and phone calls that many fans are finding it difficult to buy their tickets for the Emirates FA Cup third round tie against Spurs on 7 January.
We apologise to fans who are finding it difficult. This article describes the main problem that is arising and what to do about it.
Until 10.00 am on Monday 18 December season ticket holders, PLC shareholders and Dons Trust members are entitled to priority. The majority of problems are caused by fans trying to log in and getting the following message:
'Your details were not recognised. Please try again.'
If this happens, click on the 'forgotten password?' button and you will be asked to input your email address. If you are using an email address that the system doesn't recognise it will say
'Unable to find (email address you used). Please check the email address or register an account.'
This is almost certainly because you've used an email address that is different from the one in our records.
At this point please DO NOT register using your current email address. Instead please do one of two things:
Try to log in with any other email addresses you use, or
Call or email the office on 020 8547 3528.
Many fans are re-registering and the result is that you end up with two or more (the current record is seven) records, none of which are recognised by the system. This is why you can't see the options to buy tickets.
In a small number of instances fans haven't been sent a new password after clicking on the 'forgotten password' button. If you don't get a new password within 15 minutes, please call or email the office.
At the time of posting this we are working through the overnight phone messages and everyone should have had a response by now.
