As an AFC Wimbledon supporter you’ll probably receive some great presents today, but no doubt about the best one – a return to the spiritual home of Plough Lane, which was announced just under a fortnight ago.
We thought you’d like to see Rob Cornell’s full interview with a rather jolly character at this time of the year – that’s right, our Commercial Director Ivor Heller!
Ivor was speaking outside the Greyhound Stadium, where the new ground is to be built on Plough Lane, following that special occasion when the section 106 agreement was signed and paved the way home for the Dons

“We’ve had a lot of Christmases away from Plough Lane,” said Ivor. “It’s going to be wonderful to think while eating our Christmas dinner this year that in two or three years, or whatever it’s going to be, that we’ll be looking forward to playing at Plough Lane again on Boxing Day.”
