FA Youth Cup tie v Hull

3 January 2017

Watch young Dons bid for repeat of 2016 achievement

Our Under-18s will be grateful for your support once again next Tuesday night as they bid to emulate last season’s superb achievement in the FA Youth Cup.

The young Dons host Hull City on Tuesday 10 January (7.00 pm kick-off) in the fourth round of the national competition.

Last season, over 3,000 spectators cheered on our Under-18s in the last-16 against Chelsea and victory against Hull would earn a place in the same stage of the FA Youth Cup.

This season’s crop, managed by Mark Robinson, struck twice late on to earn an excellent third round victory at Huddersfield Town (the picture above shows match-winner Anthony Hartigan in action).

A Premier League club’s academy are sure to provide a tough test next Tuesday and Hull City’s youngsters showed their credentials by beating Leeds United 3-2 in the last round after extra-time.

Admission prices for next Tuesday are £5 for adults and free for Under-18s.
