Championship club await if Dons win against Sutton
AFC Wimbledon will host Leeds United in the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup if Neal Ardley’s men can beat Sutton United in next Tuesday’s replay.
Garry Monk’s Leeds came from behind to win 2-1 at Cambridge United tonight, the draw having been made live on BBC Two and BT Sport ahead of the televised game.
For older Wimbledon supporters, a potential clash between the Dons and Leeds will bring back memories of those epic FA Cup clashes in 1975, the first match fondly remembered for our Club President Dickie Guy’s penalty save from Peter Lorimer.
Fourth round ties will be played from 27-30 January.
