Ale & Cider Festival at AFC Wimbledon this weekend

What to look forward to as club holds second event on Saturday

It's just five more sleeps until the event of the year at AFC Wimbledon!

We're holding our second Ale and Cider Festival with Wimbledon Brewery at The Cherry Red Records Stadium this Saturday, the same day we face Premier League Watford for the Football Manager Cup.

There are 42 different ales from 13 different breweries and there are 12 different ciders from 3 different cider makers on offer at the festival. You can buy a pint on the day and don't have to buy the full beer festival ticket package, announced previously.

The all-important line-up for the event is as follows:

Original - 4% - Best Bitter

Gold - 4% - Golden ale

Nude -3.9% - Hoppy American pale ale

Oakham Brewery

JHB -3.8% - Light session bitter

Citra 4.2% - Single hop pale ale

Endless Summer 3.4% - Summer pale ale with peach and citrus flavours

Old Dairy Brewery

Red Top -3.8% - Classic English brewed

Copper Top -4.1% - Rich Dark premium Bitter

Silver Top -4.5% - Smooth Cream Stout

Dark Side of the Moo 7% - Imperial Porter

Leeds Brewery

Yorkshire Gold 4% - Golden fruity Ale

Leeds Best 4.3% - Classic Yorkshire Bitter

Midnight Bell 4.8% - Fruity, sweet and well rounded

Surrey Hills

Ranmore 3.8% - Straw coloured full flavour

Shere Drop 4.2% - Pale, hint of grapefruit and lemon

Guilt complex 4.6% - Golden, citrus, sense of floral hop aroma

Priory Mild 3.5% - Traditional dark mild ale

GB 3.9% - Amber coloured, smooth and well balanced

Old growler 5.0% - A complex satisfying porter, smooth and distinctive

SW19 Ale - 4% - Perfect summer beer, subtle citrus flavours and crisp finish

Tower Ale - 4% - Golden amber with floral and orange aroma, bitter sweet finish

Quatermaine Ale - 5.8% - Fruity, spicy, floral hop aroma, full and rich

Copper Ale - 4% - Burst of citrus, floral and tropical flavours

Common - 3.7% - Gold in colour with a bright sparkle

Star Gazer 4.5% - Slowly matured smooth and refreshing

Dark Cider 7.5% - Crafted to appeal to ale drinkers

Tokens for the ale festival can be purchased for - 1 x Token = £1.50 and 4 x Tokens = £5.00.
