AFC Wimbledon will tonight have an opportunity to clinch more pre-season silverware with the Cherry Red Records Cup up for grabs against Wycombe tonight.

The match is sponsored by Cherry Red Records, who are long-time partners of the Dons and came on board as the Chairboys’ short sponsors last season, also taking up the rear of shirt sponsorship for the 2017/18 campaign.

AFC Wimbledon Chief Executive Erik Samuelson is very grateful for the backing AFC Wimbledon has received from Cherry Red Records over many years.

“We are very fortunate to have sponsors such as Cherry Red Records who are supportive of the club in a wide range of ways and are actively involved in what we do,” said Erik. “Their sponsorship of tonight’s game is another example of their support. Cherry Red Records have sponsored the club since 2002 and, of course, have sponsored our stadium for many years.”

The independent music record label have been involved in football sponsorship for more than 20 years, and Wanderers’ commercial manager Damian Irvine also added his thanks to Cherry Red Records in the meeting of two fan-owned clubs tonight (7.45 pm kick-off).

“On behalf of Wycombe Wanderers, I wish to thank Adam and the team at Cherry Red Records for their incredible support and commitment to our club since first joining us as short sponsors last season,” said Damian.

“Cherry Red Records are genuine supporters of grass roots and supporter influenced football clubs and. They understand and value the principles and character of our club and, of course, our good friends at AFC Wimbledon.”

One of our Wembley heroes, Bayo Akinfenwa (pictured right above with Neal Ardley), is tonight set to face AFC Wimbledon for the first time since leaving the club.

Ticket prices for tonight's game are as follows:

Adults (19-59): £10

Seniors (60+): £10
