Chris Whelpdale has today left AFC Wimbledon by mutual consent after one season with the Dons.
The 30-year-old midfielder made 23 appearances in all competitions during 2016/17, scoring two goals.
Neal Ardley said: "Chris had a difficult time with us. He started the season well, but had a lot of niggling injuries, which meant that he did not play much in the second half of the season. I am sure that Chris will be a big asset to another club."
