14 July 2017

There’s a lot going on tomorrow at The Cherry Red Records Stadium as the Dons get their pre-season underway against Premier League opposition.

Watford, under new Head Coach Marco Silva, are the visitors and there’s silverware up for grabs in the form of the the Football Manager Cup (3pm kick-off) on what is shaping up to be a great day down at the Dons.

Tickets

Tickets are available to buy in advance from our online ticket shop for both AFC Wimbledon and Watford supporters up until 11am on Saturday morning. You can also buy on the day.

Ale & Cider Festival

We will be holding our second Ale and Cider Festival at the club. To see what is available at what is sure to be a popular event, please see our earlier article. The Ale & Cider Festival begins at 12pm.

There will also be a German Oompah Band providing entertainment in the car park before the game, at half-time and afterwards.

Catering

As we announced earlier this week, Shakey’s Diner will be providing our outdoor catering this season. They offer top quality food and service to enhance your matchday experience. Give them a try! We think you’ll like what they have to offer now and throughout the season at home games. Shakey’s Diner are also open for business at midday.

Programme

There is a matchday programme available tomorrow. It covers two matches – the Football Manager Cup game against Watford and next Friday night’s match against Championship side Burton Albion. There’s plenty of news to catch up on, plus the usual regular pages from manager Neal Ardley and Chief Executive Erik Samuelson. The cost is £2.

Club Shop

The shop is set to be a very popular area of the ground on Saturday! Our new third kit and training gear, supplied by Puma, was launched at “Meet the Manager”. New signings Callum Kennedy and Kwesi Appiah are pictured wearing the new training tops at the training ground this week.

The eye-catching black kit is proving to be popular among fans, but don’t panic! We have plenty of stock as well as other new clothing from the Puma range.

Away Tickets

We will be selling tickets before and after the match from the complimentary tickets window for the pre-season friendly at Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday, July 25 (7.45pm kick-off).

They are priced at £10 for Adults (including seniors) and £5 for 18s and under.

Searches

There will be increased bag searches in operation, following recent events in the news. Please understand that this is for your safety and be patient when entering the ground. If possible, please do not bring large bags to the match.

Yellow and Blue

When you enter the stadium you may notice that thanks to the hard work of volunteers we have a new look! Posts on the terracing and around other parts of the stadium have been painted during the break by AFC Wimbledon volunteers.
