Neal Ardley said that he is aiming to complete his summer recruitment by bringing in another forward.
Following the addition of midfielder Liam Trotter, Neal is aiming to bolster his attacking options, but he is prepared to be patient in search of the right player.
"Now we have to do a little bit of work to complete the final piece of the jigsaw," said Neal. "We have to do a little bit of work before we can raise the money to bring in a forward. We will be a bit more patient with the forward. I think things will need to happen for us to move on that one. Money is a bit tighter after bringing in Jimmy and Liam. We will try and get the right player in who will help us through the season."
The Dons have so far brought in seven new players with Deji Oshjilaja, Cody McDonald, George Long, Callum Kennedy, Kwesi Appiah, Jimmy Abdou and Liam Trotter, having all signed on the dotted line.
