Neal Ardley is aiming to put the finishing touches to his squad for 2017/18 by bringing in two more players.
Following the addition of Jimmy Abdou, Neal told our iFollow channel that he is aiming to make further additions.
"It took a while to get this one sorted, but we are delighted," said Neal. "I think our fans will love Jimmy, he does not stop running and has bundles of energy. We still want to bring two more in if we can – another midfielder and a forward to strengthen that department. If we can get good quality in – and get Darius and 'Meadesy' back – we will be rubbing our hands together as it will be something to go to war with."
Tom Soares is expected to further bolster the squad this week by making his return to full training. The midfielder, who missed the end of last season after having an operation to repair a fracture of his distal tibia, has had a minor thigh problem since putting that behind him.
