Neal Ardley was impressed with the second-half cameo from Osaze Urhoghide after his eventful substitute appearance at Ebbsfleet United on Saturday.
The young defender (pictured above) came close to marking his call-up to the senior team with a goal and Neal praised his effort and commitment.
"He is a great lad who puts his head in where it hurts, he is very brave," Neal told our iFollow channel. "Osaze will give you everything he's got, he is very athletic, and three times the ball dropped to him in the box – he could have got a hat-trick! It would have been nice if he could have put one of them away.
"It's great to give them that little bit of a taste, even if it's just sitting on the bench so that they can see the demands that we put on the players to win games of football. That's a good learning experience for them."
