Our AFC Wimbledon Foundation are hosting a wide range of great summer holiday courses for children aged 4-13 years, starting from next week.
For the first-time, it will include a 'Little Kickers' session aimed at 4—6 year olds with an introduction to the basic fundamentals including: ball mastery, dribbling and basic game understanding. Little Kickers will be available during weeks 1-4 of the summer holidays from 10 am-12 noon.
Another notable addition to this summer's holiday courses is a girls only football week, hosted by our Foundation from 21-24 August, with coaches Emma O'Connor and Georgia Heasman running the sessions. It is aimed at girls aged 5-13, of all abilities.
Of course, our Foundation will be running its usual summer holiday courses for boys and girls aged 4-13. There will be the bonus of an AFC Wimbledon player attending each week to pass on tips and do a meet and greet with aspiring footballers.
The coaching courses are held at Wimbledon Park, Revelstoke road, SW18 5NN.
