AFC Wimbledon are aiming to build on the roaring success of our Venezuelan night at the club earlier this summer by hosting one of the South American country’s biggest musicians.
Rafael Pollo Brito is the star attraction at our Venezuelan Party event, hosted in conjunction with our great friends at Liqui Liqui in Colliers Wood, on Saturday 5 August.
“A Latin Party + Venezuelan Food!” proclaimed Erika from Liqui-Liqui. “We are so proud to invite you to the Rafael “Pollo” Brito concert, SOLO, along with Percussionist Ernesto Marichales. He is one of the best Venezuelan artists living in London and a special guest, Afrobeats singer Yasmin Kadi, will also feature. This will be followed by a Venezuelan DJ and animation, thanks to Fitness Fun Machine, plus traditional Venezuelan Food by Liqui Liqui Venezuelan Deli & Artisan Cheeses. There`s no better way to celebrate than mixing a little bit of our two cultures - Venezuelan and English – at the club.”
About the musicians:

Over the course of his career, Rafael has shared a stage with so many personalities, including: Simon Díaz, Aldemaro Romero, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Soledad Bravo, Bobby Valentín, Cecilia Todd, Gualberto Ibarreto, María Rivas, Oscar D’León, among others.
