Neal Ardley has spoken passionately about the significance of fans supporting the We Are Wimbledon Fund as he aims to engineer more success for the club.
A group of Dons fans last week relaunched the campaign to boost our manager's playing budget through a fund that Neal says has proven pivotal to the club's achievements.
"Every penny that they have brought in has been massive for us," said Neal. "Without it, we would not have had players like Bayo Akinfenwa, Lyle Taylor and Tom Elliott, who took us to the wonderful heights at Wembley. This season our league is going to be even tougher than last season with big clubs coming up and down. I am pretty sure that mid-table in the budget league will be £600,000-£700,000 above where we are. You can see how competitive it is going to be and every penny that these supporters have put in has been immense to us. It will continue to help this club go where it wants to go."

Chief Executive Erik Samuelson has also written to supporters with a message that stresses the importance of supporting a campaign that will help Neal to bring in more quality players.
The main way for fans to contribute is via a direct debit form from the We Are Wimbledon Fund website. There is an option for supporters to make one-off payments via this form. In the section that says 'Payment Schedule, where it asks for the 'End' date, simply select 'Take certain number of debits' and a new box will open to choose option 1.
