Young Dons keeper claims clean sheet for England

Joe Bursik today kept a clean sheet at the European Under-17 Championships to help England towards a quarter-final place in the tournament.

The Three Lions marched to a 4-0 win against the Ukraine with goals from George McEachran, Rhian Brewster, Jordan Sancho and Aidan Barlow.

Our home-grown goalkeeper was required to make a good save to deny Vladyslav Supriaha at 3-0, before Man United’s Barlow sealed victory.

Steve Cooper’s side will now be looking to finish top of Group D when they take on the Netherlands in Zapresic on Wednesday.
