AFC Wimbledon under-18s could face a home tie with Manchester City, if they can get past Plymouth Argyle in the FA Youth Cup second round next Tuesday.
The draw for the third round was made today at Wembley Stadium, with clubs from the Premier League entering the competition.
The young Dons must first come through a tough trip to Home Park and the winners of that tie would entertain last season’s runners-up, in a game to be played by Saturday, December 16.
