Neal Ardley has called for the supporters to create another cracking AFC Wimbledon occasion under the lights tomorrow with play-off chasers Charlton Athletic in opposition.

A great atmosphere around the Cherry Red Records Stadium on Saturday helped spark an impressive first-half performance from the team that could easily have earned more than just one goal.

Speaking during an interview for iFollow, Neal wants more of the same backing on Tuesday night.

"I've always liked the home games and night time home games are great normally," said Neal. "We have to try and bring the energy that gets everyone off their seats, that gets everyone behind us, and if we can work together, us and the fans, it can be a fortress. It has been in the past and we need it to be again.

"We are going to play against a very good team on Tuesday and we are going to need all the help we can get. They are a different team to the one we beat in the cup. They've had a lot of turnaround, obviously the manager has come in, and they are playing a different formation. Their last four games have reflected that. I've watched their games and they've been very good. You look at it and you know that we are going to have to be absolutely at our best to get anything from the game. We are going to need every ounce of support that we can get. We are going to have to play really well. We will come up with a plan, try to be aggressive in the way we go about it, and we will do the best we can."
