AFC Wimbledon Academy to stage stadium games in May

27 April 2018

AFC Wimbledon’s Academy will be staging a series of games at The Cherry Red Records Stadium on Sunday, 6 May and you can show your support for our next generation.

From 9.00 am, our under 9s, 10s and 11s will face the youngsters of Watford, and there will be further games through the different age categories into the afternoon against the young Hornets. Our final game at 7.00 pm will see our under-18s squad for next season take on category 1 side Derby County, managed by former Nottingham Forest and England defender Des Walker.

Lead Foundation Phase Coach Joe Roberts and Academy Head of Football Mark Robinson explain, in the clip below, how our supporters can play an important role in helping to create an atmosphere for our youngsters to play in.

Scouts and agents will strictly not be admitted entrance for this fixture.

Parents and guardians of both clubs must have their parent ID card and/or designated match wrist band.

AFC Wimbledon supporters are encouraged and welcome to attend. Please ensure you have proof that you are a supporter to gain entry, for example your season ticket, old match tickets or Dons Trust membership card.

The timetable for the day is as follows:

U9/10/11s = 9am

U12s = 11am

U13s = 1pm

U14s = 3pm

U15s = 5pm
