Will Nightingale's ankle injury has been diagnosed as an Anterior Talofibular Ligament Rupture and the defender is therefore ruled out for the rest of this season.
The 22-year-old, who has made 21 appearances in all competitions this season, suffered the injury in the first-half against Charlton last week.
"It is not great and it's going to take a bit of rehab," said Neal Ardley. "It's unfortunate for the lad because every time he gets a run in the team he gets injured and puts himself out. That's the way it's been for him in the last few years, but we wish him well. Hopefully, Will comes back fresh and ready to go in pre-season."
