Additional sellers needed for Golden Goals

Make a difference at the club by doing your bit for popular fundraiser

9 August 2018

Following the retirement of Roger and Linda Dennis from matchday duties, the Dons Trust are delighted to announce that three members of the current team will be initially taking over the organisation of Golden Goals this season.

Maria Potter, Patrick Peel-Barnard and Jim Potter will be leading the organisation of this popular matchday fundraiser, which raises thousands of pounds every season for the club. The format of this initiative remains essentially unchanged, but there will be a new look to the Golden Goals this season, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Ecoglow Heating & Plumbing. Golden Goals tickets will be on sale in the usual places on Saturday.

Maria, Patrick and Jim are looking for some additional volunteers to come and join the loyal band of Golden Goals sellers. Sellers are on duty for a period of up to two hours before most home matches. Expanding the pool of sellers will help share the load and ensure that sellers are able to rotate between matches. If you would like to find out more about this, please contact Mark Davis by e-mail.
